Allspice gets its name from its complex and varied flavors, which are sometimes described as a mix of cinnamon, clove and nutmeg.  It’s often used in Caribbean cooking, in curries, and even in traditional Mexican mole. Allspice blends beautifully in drinks that include cola, in apple cider, or in a White (or Black) Russian.
