In tribute to these farmers, Double Malt Rye is crafted from a mash bill that combines Rye and Malted Barley. This blend creates a remarkable Rye Whiskey that spans a wide flavor spectrum. The 91% Rye imparts bold, peppery spice, while the 9% Malted Barley contributes a gentle, floral, and earthy essence.
To enhance the diverse palate of WhistlePig Double Double Rye, this year’s edition features a distinctive double barrel aging process in American Oak and Pedro Ximenez (PX) Sherry Casks, introducing new layers of complexity from each barrel. The result is a masterful whiskey, rich with warm, sweet notes and an enduring finish.
